There is very little that I love more than cooking and eating delicious food. I grew up in a family of foodies; cooking together defines our visits and finding new and interesting restaurants defines our vacations. My sister just opened a grilled pizza food cart and my husband and I just found a new apartment based on it’s kitchen. So basically, it runs deep.
But why “seasonal”, you may ask? Well, in real life, I am an elementary school teacher; a job that I love whole-heartedly but that is rather all-consuming. However, summer is about to begin, as is my CSA share, so it felt like an opportune time to refocus on a passion: cooking and sharing food. My husband and I get our CSA from a local farm, Farmer Dave’s, based in Dracut, MA and have loved what we receive and the people at the farm!
This blog will be a mix of food adventures specific to my CSA share, other culinary treats, and any general excitement that occurs in my first free summer since high school! Thanks for coming along for the ride!
